Medical Billing Specialist

Urology Specialists, the premier urology group in the region, has an immediate opening in our busy billing department for a Billing Specialist.  Responsibilities include insurance payment posting, claims follow-up, credit balance report analysis, daily and month end A/R balancing, answering incoming billing calls from patients and insurance companies, along with other miscellaneous department duties. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years medical billing office experience.
• Professional with great attention to detail.
• Team player, with excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work easily in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and familiarity with A/R computer programs.

CMA

Urology Specialists is seeking a motivated, friendly CMA to join our healthcare team 5 days per week in a clerical role. The CMA responsibilities will include adding medical information into the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR).  Other duties will be assigned as necessary.  Intermittent travel required with mileage reimbursement.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting and certification required within 6 months.
